Lavenham Women
Lavenham was founded in 1969 and have over 50 years of quilting expertise and still make every Lavenham item in their Suffolk factory, just six miles from the site of their original factory in Lavenham village, from where they take their name.
Their founder, Mrs Elliot, created the world’s first nylon quilted horse rug. Lavenham outerwear was originally designed to be worn whilst horse riding but has since surpassed this original purpose to become mainstays of the modern wardrobe thanks to their quality, practicality and understated appearance. Mrs Elliot’s commitment to creating ‘fit for purpose’ items continues to be the driving force of the brand and they pride themselves on the traditional manufacturing techniques they employ and the high quality materials used across their collections.
